Swim lessons started up and the kids are going to take two two-week sessions back to back so it's going to be a month of swimming!! The kids are so excited to start.
Olivia moved up into the Youth swim where they are going to challenge her more to start swimming. Dylan is in the pre-school swim again this summer but he needs to get more confident with getting his head wet.
I was so impressed with Dylan on the first day he was getting his head wet and by the end of the first two weeks he was going after the rings in the deepest area they would let the littlest kids go.
They even had them practice swimming in the deep section with a noodle around them and a swim instructor holding on.
Olivia and Mady using the kick boards.
After the first few days Olivia would say it was hard but she was trying and after a while she'd get excited by something she was able to do and she wanted to make sure I had seen her do it!
After swim lessons we stayed at the pool and swam for a few hours.
Here's some random shots of the kids...
RESTING from a long morning...
Then that evening Tom had a cub scout swim party that the whole family was invited to so we headed out one more time to play in the pool. This was at a member's house and it was a new experience for the kids because it was a salt water pool.
Ashlyn got to try out the boat since the public pools won't allow it.
I think she liked it okay but you get the biggest smiles out of her if you hold her in the water and help her swim. She loves it when you help her swim around.
