Birthday Celebration

For Dylan's birthday celebration we headed to the park and had presents and cupcakes with some of Dylan's close friends Ian, Lily, Mady, Emmett, and their parents. The icing on the cake was Papa and Grammy Lee were able to come too!!!

Dylan was again spoiled and thanks everyone for the gifts!!

The much anticipated Big Gordon cake!!
Dylan has had Gordon picked out to be on his cake for over a month. This is what Mommy came up with to get Gordon on the cake. Since we were at the park I thought cupcakes would be easier to manage.

As you can see Dylan has already claimed a cupcake. We tried to light the candles in his cupcake but it was too windy. We pretended to have him blow them out for us.

Dylan went down the slide with Daddy close by the whole time.

No sooner did we get paid and settled in at the pool then dark dark storm clouds came rolling in. In about 20 minutes we were warned out of the water.

Standing close to the building waiting for the storm clouds to blow over. Unfortunately they ended up just closing the pool for the day. We were disappointed since it seemed like the clouds were moving on very quickly. But we got rain checks and will try to get the family together to try to swim again soon.

We headed home to get some play time in with Grammy Lee and Papa. We brought McDonald's food in and played and played. We did several games of the pop up pirate game, lots of playing with trains, and hitting the balloons with Dylan's new bats.
