20 week ultrasound
Baby is 14 ounces and heart beat at 142. Baby looked GREAT and we are so happy to know we are expecting a sweet baby boy.
Olivia told me this morning she hoped it was a boy and then when she found out she was shouting and jumping "it is a boy!" Then after the thought soaked in for a bit Olivia said "how amazing is it that we wanted a boy and it's a boy."
Dylan was watching a Star Wars Clone Wars movie when I came to get him and tell him the news so not much of a reaction when he was told. However when we got ready to come home Olivia was very concerned about names and Dylan's first suggestion was how about General Grievous. Naturally the answer was no so the next suggestion was Luke and Skywalker has to be the middle name. Again a no.
One of the reason Olivia likes that it's a boy is that it follows the pattern and makes things nice and even. Dylan will tell you that he wants a brother because he wants to share his room and he doesn't want to be "alone" anymore. Olivia told someone recently she wanted it to be a boy so that eventually she doesn't have to play with Dylan anymore. Sounds a little stinging but really Olivia only wants to wrestle, light saber duel, etc for a while before she is done with it.
