Elder's Quorum Pinewood Derby Mayhem

Tom organized and ran the 1st annual Elder's Quorum Pinewood Derby.
(At least it might be annual.)

Tom was very excited to do something Star Wars related. Very very hard to choose but ultimately the Y-Wing won out. With the weight limit all the way up at 10 ounces Tom's Y-Wing became an armored Y-Wing.

Crowd to hear the awards.
This is one of the best turn outs to the Elder's Quorum activities. It was fun for the families to cheer their Daddy's on.

The winners. There was the first place winner. It came down to two cars that were so neck and neck it was competed over and over again until one car conceded the victory to the other. Then there was awards given to cars based on Most Realistic, Most Creative, Best Design, Best use of Accessories, Most Colorful, and Best Movie/TV/Video Game Themed Car.
Yes, you guessed it. Tom won for the Best Movie/TV/Video Game Themed Car.

Olivia was so pleased. She was however very sad that her Daddy didn't get the trophy and thought that we ought to buy our Daddy a trophy.

Oh and Tom's car ended up being about in the middle of the pack as far as racing results.
