WOW I can't believe my baby girl is 9 months old. Ashlyn has really grown in the last month. She is mobile. She scoots around while she's sitting up and she is very good at getting to what she wants. She is getting ready to crawl but she's still in the mode of going backwards before she'll figure out the forwards. She pulls up onto her knees to reach up for things she wants. Her one word is still "Mama" but she is exploring her voice and it's wonderful range of sounds and volume. She has started to love her table foods and is now eating several fruits and vegetables. She LOVES to laugh at us and share with us her emotions. She makes the most precious silly face at us where she holds her upper lip up towards her nose. We love it.
Ashley had her 9 month check up and weighed in at 22 pounds 14 ounces and 29 inches long. Her kidney's where checked for any lingering affects of the HSP and she was completely cleared of it. So with nothing new having developed the doctor has given her the all clear on health!
Mommy is so excited at all the wonderful new things she is learning....where did my tiny little infant go?
