This was one EXCITED little Thomas fan!!!
We have looked into Thomas events when they come in the area so we couldn't resist taking Dylan when an event ended up literally in our back yard. He was so excited to see a "Thomas show" as he called it.
He was so excited listing off all the engines and people he saw. They sang many of the Thomas songs Dylan was familiar with and had a lot of interaction with the children in the audience. They had a 20-minute intermission and Dylan was very anxious for the show to start up again that after only 5 minutes he was asking when the show would start up again.
At the end of the show the curtain was having trouble closing, so we got to get up closer to Thomas, Percy, and Diesel before the stage hands took them away to prep for the next show. Dylan was waving and calling out "Goodbye, Thomas," as he was driven away. It was tons of fun for him.
