Tom has been looking for an opportunity to head to the batting cages. Since he worked a half day so I could volunteer at Olivia's school when we got home from school we loaded up and headed to some family fun.
The kids really enjoyed watching Daddy. Sometimes we'd count his balls. Olivia lost interest in watching long before Dylan did.
After Tom hit 84 balls he was getting pretty tired and it was time to move on to the next activity.
We promised the kids a game of mini-golf.
Olivia was very determined and hit the ball as many times as it took to get it into the hole. Sometimes she would give up and set the ball right in front of the hole to hit it in.
She didn't really want our help...she wanted to do it and she was determined to do it.
Dylan was hilarious after the first 4 holes he started letting Daddy help him hit the ball the first time and then he'd run and get the ball and go set it into the hole. He seemed pleased with this so that is how the rest of his holes were accomplished.
Tom and I kept score between ourselves and I won by 2 strokes!! Tom did have the only hole in one so he was very pleased with that accomplishment!!
