This just makes me laugh - this is Dylan not understanding why we were putting a huge (one of Papa's old shirts) on him so he tried to take it off.
Then he became more interested in the eggs and let Mom put it back on him.
Dylan was VERY fast about dropping his eggs in, so we quickly realized that Dylan just got three eggs and two cups and he went to town!! He would move them back and forth and back and forth. Out of three eggs one survived as Dylan's decorated egg!
Olivia was much more organized about it all. But she didn't start decorating eggs (last year was her first time) until her Daddy could teach her how to do it properly. Poor Tom the stress on his face as Dylan used bare hands and ended up breaking two of his eggs. At least Olivia used the dipping stick and patiently checked the eggs until the right amount of color had been achieved!
I like this picture because you can see the splash of Olivia dropping the egg in.
