We have had a good holiday weekend. We had a fun and productive Saturday. We got a lot of work done in our basement in organizing boxes and tubs. I hosted my first party at the new house - a baby shower. I'm excited to have friends over often. (oh - on Friday I had my first playgroup at the new house....the back yard was a big hit) Sunday was typical. Then today we had a church picnic where the kids got to play with bubbles, water balloons and dig for candy! Then this afternoon we got to play on our new slide that was given to us by some good friends! After the kids played on the slide we pulled out our new family game of boochie. This is a game that Tom's family introduced us to when we visited them Memorial Day weekend. We found a kids version and decided it would be great to try out. Olivia seemed to enjoy and even won the first game!! Since its a kids version it can be pretty silly telling you to throw your ball with one elbow on the ground or throw the ball backwards between your legs. It was fun!
