Very Busy Week in Review

We have had a very busy week so I'll go through the highlights ---- To start off Dylan had his 15 month check up - where we found out he is 27 pounds and 32 1/2 inches long. BIG boy!

Then we went to the Museum of Transportation with one of our playgroups. We had never been before is it was a lot of fun to check it out. We missed riding their small train so we were sad about that. But there were a LOT of trains to climb on and walk through. Then we signed up for their "creation station" and that was a really neat experience for the kids to play in. That was pretty much the day for us right there. Thank you so much to Brittney for taking pictures for me when I forgot my camera.

The next day Tom took the day off work and we did our yearly outing to the Cardinals ballpark. It was the first afternoon game that we have gone to and it worked out great (because Dylan took an early nap) but PARKING oh my gosh!! With all the day time traffic on top of the game time traffic there was NO parking to be found. Once we got there and got settled in we had a great time! The Cards played great - 12 to 3 with 2 home runs. The kids were pretty startled by the fireworks when the two home runs happened back to back. Dylan would even look up to see if more fireworks were going to come when the crowd would cheer really loud. He wanted to be prepared for the loud bangs. But no more fireworks until the end and by that point the kids were ready to be done. The heat was something to be reckoned with. We had several drinks and ice cream bars and sun screened multiple times. But it was a GREAT time. Then getting home in rush hour traffic again not so much fun. We ended up in Illinois because we couldn't get to where we wanted to be. oh well - we made it home and we all went to bed!!

Then today our other playgroup explored an old park that was newly re-done so it was fun to check out the new stuff. Dylan was half way up one of the plastic net things before I could get to him. True Boy! And Olivia instantly made friends with a little girl her size. True Girl!

I've got a TON of pictures so I'll be posting slide shows of each of the outings. So stay posted.
