Merry Christmas

We went to my parents for Christmas and we were so surprised and excited to find out that my Aunt Barbara and Uncle Forrest were coming too!! Olivia was so very excited and I was excited for Dylan to see them (since he would remember this time) and for them to meet Ashlyn.

We had too much to take in our van so we opened some presents before heading down Christmas Eve. Most of what was opened early had to make the trip too but it still saved us some space.

For example: Olivia got these cool kits too make bottle cap jewelry and a build-a-bear. She made the jewelry with Aunt Barbara and the teddy bear with Grammy Lee.

She named her bear Hugs Kisses and nicknamed her Huggies!

Ashlyn soaking up her Great Uncle Forrest and Great Aunt Barbara's LOVE!

To close out our Christmas Eve Olivia played Christmas songs for us to sing to and then Dylan took a turn. After Christmas songs we watched our Christmas movie about the Savior's birth and settled in for Santa to come.

Santa came!!
Olivia was so excited that Santa not only came through on the lap desk but he put stuff inside for her!! One of her favorites was the Tinkerbell calendar.

She got right to work.

Dylan waking up to his race track.

Ashlyn woke up with bed head and wasn't so sure she wanted to be awake.
Once she found the chocolate in her stocking she was good to go.

Once we all go up and around we started in on the presents under the tree.
Here are just a few shots from the morning.

After church we had a restful day playing!!
It was beautiful weather and Dylan had to get Papa outside to the hole they have been digging to the center of the Earth.

Dylan had great fun jumping over it and Olivia had fun playing in the water.

Olivia put on quite the song and dance performance all about the Stinky water in the hole.
The kids LOVE their time with Papa!!

Kisses for Mama

Olivia made sure everyone had presents made just by Olivia!

Looking at Aunt Barbara's wildlife photos! This is a fun hobby and she has some beautiful pictures!!
Christmas was over way too soon. We were sad to have to say goodbye and end this Christmas day.
Monday morning the kids gathered to watch Christmas movies received and then Olivia had to go to the store and spend some of her Christmas money!! After that it was time to head home and get some projects done.

Looks like you guys had a very fun-filled Christmas! FYI - Ashlyn's "bed head" is better than my best hair day... lol. And I love that photo of her eating the chocolate. Adorable! Thanks for sharing the pics!
