Olivia's Girl Scout troop ordered tickets at a discount for the girls to see Beauty and the Beast at the Fox Theater. Since Dylan has had the opportunity to see Thomas and Yo Gabba Gabba Live this year we saw this as a perfect opportunity for Olivia to see a show this year too. Olivia was so ready!! She even understood that these were peopling acting and putting on a play for the audience to see. She is growing up too fast!!
As the show started and the Beast was scary and the wolves were scary she told me she forgot that she really didn't like this story. Then as the Beast got nicer and as the songs were so pretty she really liked it overall.
Of course the music was BEAUTIFUL and the acting was so very good. We enjoyed ourselves and as an early Christmas present I got Olivia the soundtrack to enjoy and remember seeing the show.
As many of her girl scout friends that we could round up afterward for a picture.
That night Olivia was listening to her music in her room and ran out to me and was scared because one of the songs reminded her of the scary part. Then she was telling me she was scared to go to bed. Luckily she didn't have any nightmares. I really was beautifully done even in the scary parts.
