Because Olivia had gotten busy (and Dylan joined in) a few days before Thanksgiving making Christmas ornaments there was NO WAITING around with putting the Christmas tree up.
With an injured Daddy that left the project to Mommy! However, Tom did get some help in on the assembling of the tree, thank goodness!
I didn't get the camera pulled out until Dylan had already put the angel on the tree and the kids were hard at work putting their ornaments up. I had to work around them to try to get the ribbon up.
The kids had SO MUCH fun remembering all the ornaments!
One of the favorite parts is the finishing touches of putting on the candy canes!
With no Daddy to hold them up the kids figured out their own way to reach the top of the tree.
Taking a break from the hard work to test the candy cane quality this year and make sure it was all good to go!
Ashlyn went down for her nap shortly after the Christmas decorations were pulled out. Here is she waking up to this new thing in her living room.
Olivia showed her everything and helped her play with the lights and the ornaments "approved" to be touched.
We ended our house decorations by hanging the stockings!
Christmas we are officially decorated for you!
