Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving started out early for us! My parents came up the Sunday before and spent the day with us. They arrived at church to hear Tom sing in the choir. Then after church they played with the kids and then when we figured we might as well start some Thanksgiving food preparations the kids settled down to show Papa and Grammy Lee the new movie they are totally in love with called "The Incredibles". The last time they were up the kids showed them "The Chipmucks" so I guess they are getting the complete scoop on movies the kids are in love with right now.

After we feasted on our delicilous meal of ham, mashed potoatoes and gravy, homemade rolls, corn, and cranberry salad, and sparkling grape juice Ashlyn helped Grammy Lee knit her owl stocking hat.
Ashlyn loves to help!

You can tell in these pictures that Ashlyn's top lip is hurt. She feel down on the library sidewalk and did a number on her top lip. It looked HORRIBLE after it first happened! It's a amazing how fast their little bodies heal.

Dylan had to get Mairo Kart Wii Wahoo out!!
Papa is a good sport!

 Chillin' on the couch!

I actually didn't take very many pictures of our Thanksgiving.

For the two days prior to Thanksgiving Olivia was really not feeling well which made our plans to go to a friends house on Thanksgiving Day in jeopardy. But she woke up feeling much better on Thanksgiving. Then that morning Tom went off to play football with the guys at church. He came home limping and announces that something very wrong happened to his foot. But since we were just going to a friends house to hang out and eat their Thanksgiving feast we mad the most of the day and EAT a lot of good food and spent time with some even BETTER people.

Tom found out that he badly sprained his tendon that crosses his arch. I'm sure there are larger medical words to describe it but there you go. He is getting better each day and trying to help it heal with some at home techniques.
