Happy New Year

Usually our new year consists of Tom and I playing games, watching movies etc until midnight toasting with sparkling grape juice and heading to bed. This year was a little different. The kids wanted to stay up too!! Now this could have gone either way but thankfully it was very pleasant! There was minimal crankiness as the kids played games, watched movies, had a "picnic" dinner on the living room floor, ate treats, and toasted at midnight with us with the kids favorite sparkling grape juice. Olivia even insisted on getting a Mommy and Daddy glass to use.

Immediately the kids wanted to do our New Years tradition of measuring how big the kids have grown on our growth chart. This was Ashlyn's first year but as she was already asleep so we got her measurement the next day.
