Conference Center

Our first time inside the Conference Center!

Thank you Amanda and Scottie for taking us!

Beautiful HUGE Painting of Jesus visiting the Nephites!

Portraits of the 1st Presidency!

On the Roof looking at the Temple.
There is a really beautiful water fountain on the roof that then flows down the front of the building. The water fountain sets above the podium of the conference center and there is a wall behind the water that talks about that the words of the prophets will flow to all the ends of the Earth. It was COOL!

Our trip to the conference center was a bit stressful. They switched tour guides on us in the middle of our tour, which the reason that was bad is that the new tour guide had come a different way through the building so we had the opposite things we still wanted to see. This was also about the time the kids were starting to get bored of the many hallways and paintings. Then time was running short so we wanted to get up to the roof to see the gardens and water fountain. So we skipped groups only for the elevators to not work. They kept taking us down when we were trying to go up. So something like 5 attempts, 2 elevators, and switching back to the old group we finally get to the roof. Only to get a very short look and headed back down to get to our airplane on time. Our airplane was running about 15 minutes late so we were just fine.

That about sums up our trip. A WHOLE lot of fun, sometimes rushed to fit everything in, and too short but we were all so happy to be back home!

Both kids feel asleep very quickly on the airplane so it was a very fast trip home for us!!

We were so surprised. We didn't even know Dylan knew how to say temple, but when we walked into the HUGE conference center and looked up at the organ Dylan pointed and said "Temple"!!

These rainbows are from the windows on the roof into the conference center. As you can tell Livie really enjoyed them!!
