Cards Game

We have two trips to the Cardinals planned with the family and this was night #1. It was a horrible day and Mommy was quite cranky and finished by the time game time came around but we drove there in the drizzling rain and found our seats (after walking around the whole stadium because we forgot which side we were sitting on for this game). But we were relived that we were tucked up underneath the seats above us should it rain. But the evening turned out to be BEAUTIFUL.

Olivia thought the stadium was TOO LOUD and was very unhappy. So I packed the kids up and we headed to the Toddler Zone. They had a BLAST but Mommy forgot the camera. So we headed back to Daddy and got food with the promise we would take Daddy back to show him the play area. After a while Olivia commented, "hey it's not so loud anymore!"

We stopped for a family photo and people behind the camera were trying to get Dylan to smile but nope no smile.
The game was a lot of fun. It was a close match with the score 2 to 1 (not in our favor). We headed back to the play area in the 8th so that the kids could show Daddy before the game was over. As we are walking there a pinch hitter ties the game with a solo home run. The kids were so excited to show Daddy their favorite spots in the play section.

Dylan's favorite was standing on the baseball and dancing to the music.

Olivia's favorite was getting inside the baseball glove.

This was by far the kids highlight of the night. They ran, jumped, climbed, and walked across everything in sight. Then as the kids are playing we see Pujols come to the plate top of the 9th with a tied ball game and of course you want him to nail it and three pitches in and it was gone. We won the game and everyone is cheering a dancing and the kids got into the excitement too.
We had a GREAT family night and the day ended on a HIGH note!!
