Dylan Update

Surprised!!??!!
I know I am!
Dylan has decided to try to potty train. Totally by surprise and completely not in my schedule. So we are scrambling to get ready, have the patients, and crave out enough time in our schedule to focus on training Dylan. Any advice on potty training a little boy would be MUCH appreciated!!
Dylan gets this stubborn determination (which he has always had) and insists on going potty and not putting a diaper on for hours even if nothing is happening. I'm glad he wants to stick with it but its very hard when the diaper needs to go back on and he is crying that you are putting it back on. Patients - a lot of Patients!!!!
This next picture just makes me laugh. It's Dylan today with no diaper on, his coat (which he surprisingly pulled out of the coat closet and insisted on wearing), and one shoe on. I guess he decided this looked like a good outfit to mow my kitchen in. Too funny!

Dylan sporting his new Wall-E pjs. Mommy couldn't pass up the find because Wall-E stuff is hard to find and its what Dylan is really into right now. He likes his new pjs so much he wore them two nights in a row.
Dylan had his two year check up today and he weighed in at 32 pounds and 7 ounces. The doctor thought it would be fun to "predict" how tall Dylan will be and she said approximately a 6 footer. Dylan's height at 2 years - 35 and 3/4 inches! Just shy of a 3 footer!
