The Good, The Bad, and the Crazy

The Good, the bad, and the crazy moments seem to be the best way to describe our week.

 We have been struck by how big Ashlyn is compared to Tyler. Our baby girl is looking pretty big to us right now. Ashlyn's vocabulary has been exploding for the past couple of weeks. She loves to listen to books, do puzzles, count, and play with anything that is yours and isn't a toy. Some of her cutest phrases lately have been "I did it!", "Thank you", and "You're Welcome". She is getting so big!!

These wonderful moments and those that I've posted have made up for the bad/crazy moments we have also had this week. 

1. The van went in for an oil change and came back out several hours later with a new water pump.

2. The dishwasher gushed water all over the kitchen floor and needed the filter cleaned out. 

3. The garage door spring snapped in two and left both cars stranded inside the garage. To make matters worse this was after taking the kids to school so we still would need to get them from school that afternoon. 

4. During Olivia's Father Daughter dance with Daddy her new dress accidentally got a rip in the underskirt and Olivia was so sad her dress was hurt.

5. The sewer backed up into the basement laundry room and needed cleaned up.

Then the OBVIOUS one trying to recuperate and settle in after having a baby one week old!

What a Crazy and Wonderful week it has been.
