Dylan lost his first tooth on Wednesday, November 14th during his evening brushing. He has an adult tooth growing in behind and his tooth has been wiggly for a bit. This was the first evening that I had gotten to take a look at his wiggly tooth and I encouraged him that if he let me wiggle it I might be able to have the tooth fairy visit him that night. He wasn't so sure but he was motivated by the fact that there is a tooth poster at school and that if his tooth came out then he'd get his name on the tooth at school. Apparently another kid had lost his tooth and gotten his name on the chart just that day and Dylan really really wanted to go to school and have his name be the second one on the list. Dylan put up with a lot more then Olivia ever would have and eventually Mommy got that tooth out.
He was so happy!!!
We gave it a bath.
Olivia was so thrilled she let Dylan borrow her tooth box and told him what a lucky duck he was that the tooth fairy was going to come.
Dylan got to call Grammy Lee right before bed and off to happy dream land Dylan went.
Dylan received the $2 first tooth amount and he was so happy he had to count his money right away. He is very excited to have enough money to buy a Lego Star Wars set that now he is obsessed with how many more teeth he'll lose and when. We have been trying to tell him that doing chores is a surer way to earn money because it's not known when his other teeth will come out. So now he asks us multiple times a day if there is a chore he can do. He will randomly tell me how much fun it was to loose his tooth.
