Olivia's Girl Scout Troop organized an outing to a Cardinals Game.
We jumped on the opportunity to get good tickets for the family. We try to go to the ball park once a year as a family and missed last year (Tom got to go) so we lived it up. We had nachos and lemonade, and took Dylan to play in the family kids area. Olivia loved seeing her friends. We were going to head out early because it was a school night but we were having so much fun we ended up staying through the whole game. The Cards won 3 to 1.
For the first few innings Olivia really tried to understand what was happening with the game but she was getting so confused by all the numbers. She was getting the strikes, balls, outs numbers confused with the runs. She started to just ask who was winning and that's what she cared about.

Olivia had made this Cards hat at school for a Card's Day so she brought it to the game.
Funny story: School has Cardinals Days (no Rams or Blues days which I find interesting) and so Olivia has started to hear some Cardinals and Cub trash talk. She came home and told Daddy "the Cubs have no big hits and the Cardinals do." Poor Tom isn't going to get any Cubs fans but we are enjoying the Cards.
