Our Saturday

Olivia raked a pile of leaves in the back yard to play in while Daddy worked in the back yard. We aren't bagging the back yard leaves yet because there is a lot more to come...
It was such a BEAUTIFUL day with highs in the 70s. We got the yards looking nice and did the last mow for the year. YEAH!! Now we just need to wait for the back yard leave to finish and we will be done for the year...

helping Daddy lay hay - aren't they cute helpers

This is just the leaves from the front and side yard.
It was huge. We bought 10 bags and couldn't even fit all the leaves in.

Olivia was a big help in bagging the leaves...

and stomping them down.

Dylan stood off by this tree must of the time. I think with short sleeves on the leaves were bother him. It was a lot of sensory to take in. So a little play is all Dylan wanted.

It was just getting dark and Dylan saw some teenagers walking in the street so he did not heed our directions and also went into the street. These teenagers paid Dylan no attention and by this point Dylan has reached the middle of the street just as a car is starting to come up the street. I run like no other and get Dylan from the street and then break down into tears. Luckily Tom reaches us by then and takes over on talking to the children so I could recover. Of course this all happened in a matter of seconds. I have said it many times - our little boy has absolutely no regard for his own safety and scares his Mommy constantly.
