SNOW

The snow started out on Tuesday with only two inches and it was the really powdery snow so it really wasn't good for snowmen but at least I didn't have to worry about Tom coming home from work in ice so I was happy.

Then to our surprise we woke up Wednesday to almost 6 inches!! So we got back out there again.

I like the trail you can see that she blazed to get to the slide.

Olivia LOVED making snow angels.

I put Dylan down to make a snow angel with him and he just looked at me like "why are you doing this to me". But I think it turned out cute!


Again no snowmen and snow balls were just throwing powder at each other but it was LOTS of fun. Olivia set up fort in her play house and launched her powder from there.

The extra inches were hard for Dylan to tromp through and he quickly got tired and wanted held. He liked playing in the play house because it was in from the snow but still out in it.

We enjoyed it for a couple of days and then we got sick and couldn't go back out into it. Olivia and Dylan got colds and Dylan's has turned into breathing treatments and medicine. He was really out of it Thursday afternoon and Friday where he wasn't getting up and playing, he wasn't eating or drinking, and he was having troubles breathing. But as soon as we started the breathing treatments he bounced back and started playing again. It was so cute at the doctors office. He was just so miserable on my lap but every time a nurse or doctor walked in he would sit up and say "HI" and then when the would leave he'd smile and say "BYE"! They said he was the happiest sick baby they had ever had. He still isn't eating but he has started drinking. Olivia has been tired and cranky but her sickness is about over. NO FUN to get sick when there is snow outside to play in. oh well - we enjoyed it for a couple of days!
