Wettest Year on Record

After we already broke the record for the wettest year on record we then two days later had a HUGE rain storm that had 70 mph wind gusts. Our yard and the neighbors yards became a river flowing down our hill. At first the river coming down the hill went behind our back fence but by the second and worst wave of rain the river went around the kids slide, pooled on the far side of our yard, and then flowed like another river under our side fence and out to the road. I should note no water pooled around the house and we had great drainage in the front yard. AND, we were very lucky the county to the north of us had a tornado warning. What a CRAZY year for weather here!
