Dylan got to explore it the next day!

We had been to the library so Olivia picked out an angry face from the jack-o-lanterns from the book. She helped Tom draw the face but when it came to cleaning out the seeds she wanted nothing to do with it. She touched it and said "yewehee" and wouldn't try again. We teased her that Dylan would come help and she said "No he can't do it because he is a baby!". We then asked her to help Daddy cut out the eye with the knife and she told us "But I'm not suppose to touch those knifes!" We told her that this was an exception and that she could touch the knife with Daddy's help. That she agreed to. So she was willing to help carve out the face. We gave Dylan a turn but it didn't work so will, but he felt big for trying. Maybe next year for Dylan. Olivia liked when it was all done and she could see Daddy's hand through the face reaching into the pumpkin. Olivia is very proud of her mad jack-o-lantern.
