March has been a FUN month mostly because of SPRING BREAK, a couple of trips to my parents, a trip to the zoo, multiple parks to play in 70 and 80 degree weather, the Magic House, a Final Fantasy concert, and a Easter Egg Hunt at church!!
We have had some challenges like delivering 225 (approximately) girl scout cookies, collect and deposit all the money for the troop's cookies, a broken camera, and a broken lawn mower.
Pictures are in no specific order.
Enjoy!
Zoo with the Lingards.
One of the highlights was watching two baby elephants play and wrestle in the water!
Olivia said she constructed a pool and showed me how all the water filled up, etc.
Tom and Becca at the "Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy" Concert. It was performed by the St. Louis Symphony and Chorus. We heard about the concert about a week before it happened, but we still got really nice seats. The composer, Nobuo Uematsu, was in attendance, and he even performed two pieces. Tom was in heaven. Their video board showed scenes from the games that corresponded with the music being played. Overall it was fantastic. Some people in the audience even dressed up in costumes. There was a couple dressed as Yuna and Tidus from FF X, there was Squall from FF VIII, and Vincent, Yuffie, and Sephiroth from FF VII. Several people had stuffed moogles or chocobos from the series as well. It was interesting to see the variety of people in the audience, from people dressed in their finest, the costumes, and some people in jeans and T-shirts.
The view from our seats for the concert. We couldn't see the men in the chorus, but we could see everyone else. Becca especially liked to watch the guy playing the chimes / bells / gong. This was taken after the encore, which was totally awesome (They play "One-Winged Angel" with Nobuo Uematsu singing in the chorus).
Church Easter Egg Hunt - the kids FIRST of the session!
