Our Thanksgiving...

Kids in their Thanksgiving hats!
Olivia made hers at school and Dylan made his at the library.
We are in the spirit!

For some Thanksgiving fun I found this cute idea and made it my own and here's how they turned out. It was lots of fun and oh so yummy!!

This is Olivia's personal creation!

Then for Thanksgiving we headed to my parents' house.
Unfortunately our trip was shorter then we wanted when we forget one bag which just happened to be the bag with Tom's medicine. So our visit was shorter and more condensed but we still got to do several things.

Not to mention all the playing the kids got in.

Olivia wanted to watch Grammy Lee fix the turkey because her school had asked her how you make a turkey and this is what Olivia said: "You have to break the eggs and put the eggs inside the turkey. Then she puts the milk in. That's my job. We bake it in the oven and then get it out to have a nice fresh turkey! We eat it all up!" I think Olivia was most impressed by the fact that Grammy Lee gave the turkey a bath to start.

Ready for this yummy yummy dinner.
Dylan was ready for one of Grammy Lee's rolls!!

Ready to enjoy!

Afterward we got in the Christmas spirit and decorated the tree.
Grammy Lee and Papa showed Ashlyn her first Christmas tree. She loved the colored lights!

Dylan likes the movie 101 Dalmatians and of course his favorite part is the crash at the end. He decided that this was Cruella De Vil's car and had to go on the tree.

Really wanted Papa to hold them up to decorate high on the tree.
Of course they need to be held up at the same time.

Chewing on a beaded candy cane with Grammy Lee keeping a close eye on her.

Putting a snowflake on top of the tree.
We did find the star and ended up replacing the snowflake.

Setting up Grammy Lee's manager scene.

We all enjoyed some pumpkin pie for all our efforts and then it was time to go.

Playing with Grammy Lee!
