Keeping Busy

Olivia started reading camp and met her teacher Mrs. Emge. Olivia goes every morning for reading one on one with her teacher and then group activities with other kids going into first grade. She is loving it and has gained so much confidence in her reading. She is also enjoying meeting friends and getting to be a social butterfly.

She has already completed the library summer reading program by reading 40 books. She also has already completed the Barnes and Noble reading program but it was only 8 books which took Olivia all of one setting to complete. She has always loved reading but as she gains confidence in reading herself she gets so excited!

We have also hit up the pool.
Ashley was not at all happy I set her down in the water.

Once she made a friend she was much happier to play and be at the pool.

Heading down the hall looking for an open door to explore and didn't find one. Maybe next time.

Got the couch cushions off to lay on while watching a movie.

Fell asleep in the middle of the floor while playing with the laundry basket.

The last couple of weeks have been rather slow with having a sick Mommy. We have still been able to maintain reading camp and watching Tom's softball games. Tom's team is 2 and 6 with 2 rain outs. I've also been reading several books and trying hard to keep up with my three wonderful and challenging kiddos!
