We signed Olivia up for the powder puff derby in our area. It's pretty big. They limit entries to the first 200 to sign up. There are several heats and Olivia will be in heat #2. They got down to work designing and cutting. Then Daddy did the sanding. Now the part Olivia was must excited about...

Race Day
She was so excited to earn her first badge.
She even had me come home and iron it right on for her.
Olivia's car weighed in at 4.75 ounces out of 5 ounces being the maximum weight.
It's first out of six races.
It races in each lane so it races six times and then they take the average time.
Olivia's car was mostly coming in 4th during it's races.
All finished and just awaiting the other races to get some results.
20th out of 41 cars in her heat
She was of course sad not to win but I thought she handled the whole experience with a positive attitude!
