Olivia has been asking for a picnic at the park and ice cream afterward for quite awhile. So on an absolutely beautiful evening we headed out!! We played until it got dark. The kids enjoyed playing foxtail with Daddy. So happy that we got a brief relief from the 100 degree heat indexes.
Introduced Ashlyn to her crib. Olivia was so excited to show her and welcome sister to the girls room!
Dylan received this Thomas product catalog when he was playing at a friends house with their train set. They didn't care about the product catalog and told Dylan he could have it. He has carried this catalog around for 2 weeks now and it has been LOVED to shreds. He has taken it to church, stores, he sleeps with it...basically it goes where Dylan goes. He asks me to "read" it to him which means he wants to know what every product in the catalog is called. He already knew almost all the engines in the book but he learned a few more from the catalog and know he knows almost all of the train set accessories that are available. Tom and I figure the catalog has about one more week before our ability to tape it back together won't be enough and we'll have declare the poor catalog shredded.
