The Whole Family

We had a very fun weekend with my family. My Grandma pointed out that she had all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren all together so of course it was a photo opportunity. We built a campfire Friday night and had all the fun that goes with a campfire. Then half the family slept outside in tents or RVs and the rest in the house. Saturday the grandkids played played played and we kind of split up in the afternoon to do some family individual fun. That evening the kids decorated Easter eggs (saved all the way from Easter). Then Sunday after church we got a picture of Mom and Dad with their grand babies in the grass and then went home to rest and re-coupe. That evening we had multiple Easter egg hunts and got a whole group family photo. Olivia played hard and was extra tired as her reward. Dylan loved the smiles and attention but stayed close to Mom for the weekend - but my Sister Sarah hands down was the best at getting him to take a nap. Dylan also get to explore and enjoy G.G.s wheel chair for the first time this trip. He is getting so big but not fast enough for him. He so desperately wanted to get down and run around with the rest of the kids. Next time the group gets together I'm sure he'll be right in the thick of it. We are looking forward to the next time all the family can get together.
